For those that missed the live stream, we have more complete looks at the Elly De La Cruz program as well as the Storylines Negro Leagues Drop 3 content that released on Friday.
In addition to the playable content we have today, SDS also touched on some other subjects that are worth pointing out. They also gave us a sneak peak at the next Weekend Classic.
Spring Breakout Showdown Update
For those that haven't completed the Spring Breakout collection yet, SDS just made it a bit easier. To complete the collection, you were required to complete the Spring Breakout Showdown in order to earn a Choice Pack that rewarded one of four Spring Breakout cards. A bit tedious, but a necessary evil to unlock Leodalis De Vries.

Now, the Choice Pack you earn rewards two of the reward cards which will make it easier to finish the collection.
Roster Update Marketplace Change
This was revealed previously in the patch notes for the latest game update, but SDS made sure to touch on it again for a reason.
Every roster update featuring upgrades and downgrades moving forward will see an "auction reset" of sorts. If a card moves in tier (Gold to Diamond or Silver to Bronze), then all active buy and sell orders will be wiped and begin anew. This seems like a pretty sensible change to make, as tiers have differing quick-sell values.
An important note is that any wiped orders will see the Stubs refunded to the original owner. So if you throw up orders that never get filled and that card changes tiers in the update, you'll see your Stubs refunded to your account.
Weekend Classic II Notes
We also learned of some pretty notable adjustments made to the upcoming Weekend Classic II.
The first round of Weekend Classic was mired with issues, which is understandable considering this was SDS' first attempt at a mode like this. Frustrating for sure, but they also provided free packs as an apology with promises to make adjustments in the future. As the second Weekend Classic approaches, SDS filled us in on those changes.
The biggest change is the adjustment to matchmaking. Originally, matchmaking was based on your current rating at the start of the game. With Weekend Classic II, you will now only be matched with players in your current division. Simply, that means Bronze players will only match with other players in the Bronze division. This should hopefully eliminate any major mismatches, but we should probably remain cognizant that this is still a new mode and there may be some kinks yet to work out. SDS has shown they're responding rapidly to feedback, so if we keep the feedback constructive and consistent, it looks like everyone will win.

Leaderboards are also being improved. You’ll still be placed within 100 players of your division, but expect results to better reflect the actual results. They specifically commented that "going 20-20" shouldn't land you in the top-ten, so we'll have to see how this shakes out.
We also get the introduction of Weekend Classic Rewind packs, which will reward the previous Weekend Classic reward cards for playing in Weekend Classic II. The previously featured cards were Carlos Correa and Corey Kluber. It appears Gold division and above will see a different pack, featuring a "Rewind" tier of the aforementioned cards while also awarding the choice of one of the newest Weekend Classic II reward cards.
Those cards were also teased with some lovely pixelated attributes. We know we'll be seeing Ryne Sandberg and Giancarlo Stanton in this pack, but SDS stated we'll need to check their social media next week to see the attributes revealed before the launch of Weekend Classic II on May 9th.
That's it for this week! Stay tuned next week for what should be a massive amount of content, between the April Spotlight Monthly Awards and the 3rd Inning Program.
