The Major League Baseball season hasn't even started yet, but the content in MLB The Show 26's Diamond Dynasty mode keeps chugging.
A ton of new content arrives today in the form of the Spring Breakout card series. The series celebrates the Spring Breakout games taking place for the third straight year, where MLB teams assemble squads of their best prospects unleashed in exhibition play.
Here's everything in the drop:
USA Conquest Map
The much beloved (by a few of us) USA Conquest map is finally here. It's split into three regions (West, Central, East) with comparable rewards across each map.

There are multiple Spring Breakout cards earned along the way in each region, while completing each map awards a Spring Breakout Choice Pack that allows you to choose 2 Spring Breakout cards. The pack reward is repeatable, meaning you can grind out all of the cards featured in the pack without spending any Stubs.
Spring Breakout Program
50-stars to complete

Missions

Moments
There is a total of five Moments worth 5 stars each.
Rewards
- 88 Spring Breakout Seth Hernandez
- 88 Spring Breakout Josue De Paula
- 89 Spring Breakout Ethan Holliday
- 2x Spring Breakout Choice Packs

Budding Youth Event Program
The Event has shifted into a Spring Breakout themed foray. The teambuilding criteria for this event is as follows:
- Spring Breakout Series players
- Players age 25 or younger
- 84 Overall and lower players

With wins no longer mattering to complete the program, you truly can just unwind and play some games online without caring about the result. Grind out some PXP or work on other missions while completing this program to earn 89 Spring Breakout Leo De Vries and a sellable Spring Breakout Choice Pack.

Collection
Finally, a new collection lands featuring 90 Spring Breakout Konnor Griffin as the reward.
To collect Griffin, you'll need to collect 16 of 20 currently available Spring Breakout cards.

Spring Breakout Konnor Griffin debuts as the #12 SS according to Meta Overall. This is an interesting ranking, as it puts him below Spring Breakout Leo De Vries, Jesus Made, and Ethan Holliday - also featured in today's drop.
The value seems right, however, as this collection is incredibly easy to complete. You do not have to spend Stubs, although you can buy the Spring Breakout Choice Pack from the Show Shop for 30,000 Stubs with a purchase limit of three packs per user.
Having the ability to grind out the packs repeatedly is obviously an exchange of time, but the cards should maintain a relatively affordable price point. It's definitely a nice change of pace from the WBC Collection that required a whopping 142 WBC cards to unlock 94 WBC Maikel Garcia.
It's worth noting the gap between the expensive collection and the "free" content. This was a sizable gap that formed last year, but if the "free" collections are this easy to complete - I'm not sure there's much to frown about. The Spring Breakout content is a fun addition, featuring a ton of new names to Diamond Dynasty.
What will you be grinding first?
Check out the new Programs and Packs pages, with even more details broken down in a convenient location.
This includes an interactive Program tracker, so you can tally your progress while playing. No more guessing when building teams to grind program missions!
