The New Threads series was introduced last year, and became one of the more popular and notable sets across the content cycle.
New Threads returns in MLB The Show 26, with a ton of content including a program, Event, pack, and collection.
New Threads Program Breakdown
New! Dedicated Program pages here at ShowZone allow you to track your progress and build the most efficient squads to grind missions. This page is the perfect bookmark to revisit as you progress in every Program!
Moments and Missions
There's a total of 12 Moments worth up to 60 program stars.
There's also a ton of stat and PXP missions featuring teams with prominent new players, New Threads series cards, and many players have "use any version" missions for easier stars.
New Threads Pete Alonso is the ultimate reward at the end of the program. The Polar Bear debuts as the #7 1B according to Meta Overall, featuring reverse splits that makes him a righty masher.
New Threads Mini Seasons

A New Threads themed Mini Seasons has also arrived. You can choose 3 or 9 inning games and between 7 and 28 regular season games for your season.
New Threads Brandon Nimmo is earned by winning 11 games on All-Star difficulty or higher. This is a modification from previous Mini Seasons that awarded the featured card upon winning the Championship. You can also earn New Threads versions of Ryan Helsley and Luis Robert Jr. by completing missions and tasks within the Mini Season.
Opening Day Event Program
The reward path is a bit different this time around, extended to include a Premier New Threads pack at 100 stars. Earn New Threads Freddy Peralta at 50 stars.
I really enjoy the new formatting of Events, and will absolutely be grinding out this one.
New Threads Pack

Check out the Packs page, which features a detailed breakdown of every pack in Diamond Dynasty. This includes real-time data on expected value to help you spend Stubs wisely!
New Threads Collection
All the new cards feed into a new collection.
Unlock New Threads Justin Verlander by collecting 7 New Threads cards, Kyle Tucker by collecting 17 New Threads cards, and Bo Bichette by collection 23 New Threads cards.

Bichette actually ranks a bit low on the Meta Overall rankings, landing at #15 3B. There's no mistaking that Bichette probably plays above that, as he has an amazing swing and the offensive attributes are very good. Still, for a collection hovering between 100,000 Stubs and 250,000; some players may want more steady defense on the left side of the infield.
Check out the Collections page, which features comprehensive and detailed breakdowns of every Program in Diamond Dynasty!
