September 25 Roster Update: Minor Tweaks and a Silver Milestone
MLB The Show 26's September 25 roster update is a quiet one—31 rating changes, all transactional adjustments with no Diamond or Gold movement. If you're holding high-end investments, this week's a breather.
The Lone Rarity Crosser
Kyle Harrison (Brewers) is the headline: he jumps from 73 to 78 OVR, crossing from Bronze to Silver. That tier upgrade resets his quick-sell floor and typically spikes his price on the market, making him the only card in this update with real Stub-flipping upside. Harrison's an attractive pickup for budget rotations and Silver-tier Collections.
Downgrades to Watch
On the flip side, AJ Smith-Shawver (Braves) and Robert Stock (Mets) both tumble from Bronze to Common, losing their tier floors. Stock's Control dropped 15 points, while Smith-Shawver shed 5 OVR. If you're sitting on either, consider cutting losses before the market adjusts. Tyler Kinley (Tigers) and Jose Quintana (Rockies) stay Bronze but slip a couple ticks—minimal lineup impact.
Six new Commons join rosters, led by Aaron Sabato (Twins, 63 OVR) at first base. ShowZone's free Roster Update Predictor helps you spot these moves early next time—worth checking before each Friday drop.
