September 18 Roster Update: Quiet Week, Zero Downgrades
The September 18, 2026 MLB The Show 26 roster update is a minor, transactional affair — 25 rating changes (all upgrades), 19 position swaps, and 9 new cards added to the database. No one crosses into Silver or above, so Diamond Dynasty squads and the market stay largely untouched.
Biggest Movers
Elmer Rodriguez (Yankees) leads the pack with a +6 jump to 61 OVR, still Common. Miguel Mendez (Giants, 58→63) and Erick Fedde (White Sox, 66→70) both tick up four points in Bronze territory. Daniel Lynch IV (Royals) creeps to 73 OVR, edging closer to Silver watch for the next full-scale update.
The remaining upgrades are small Common bumps — Khristian Curtis, Kohl Drake, Tyler Schweitzer, and Adam Macko all gain 3–4 OVR but remain well below rarity thresholds.
New Arrivals
Nine fresh cards hit the database, headlined by Josue De Paula (Dodgers RF, 63 OVR) and Anthony Gose (Royals RP, 62). All are Common-tier depth pieces with no immediate market or Collection relevance.
