Do you like prospects? You're in luck with today's massive Pipeline content drop. Almost every corner of Diamond Dynasty received Pipeline-themed content, with new packs and a new collection, plus the latest August Spotlight drop.
Pipeline Program Breakdown
SDS announced a pivot in the content, no longer gatekeeping cards behind specific modes. In the past, you had to jump into specific modes or spend Stubs on the market to complete certain collections. With this change, a new no-sell choice pack has been created that includes all the cards that would have been mode-specific rewards.
The cards contained in this pack are:
- Seth Hernandez, SP PIT (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Sebastian Walcott, SS TEX (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Mike Sorota, CF LAD (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Ethan Holliday, SS COL (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Liam Doyle, SP STL (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Josuar Gonzalez, SS SF (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Ethan Salas, C SD (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Ralphy Velazquez, 1B CLE (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Bryce Rainer, SS DET (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Michael Arroyo, 2B SEA (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Jhonny Level, SS SF (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Gage Wood, SP PHI (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Nate George, CF BAL (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Carlos Lagrange, SP NYY (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Kayson Cunningham, SS AZ (98 OVR Pipeline)
Pipeline Diamond Quest
We get our first new Diamond Quest map since the 2026 All-Star content dropped. I love Diamond Quest as a mode and wish we got new maps more often. This will be a nice little way to grind out the No-Sell Choice Pack to progress through the collection.
Pipeline Mini Season
A new Mini Season also lands, which is an easy recommendation to grind, as always. There's a ton of packs, including Ultra and Premier choice packs. These can be saved for each new set, which has been very helpful in blasting through each new collection as they come. There's also a Midsummer Classic Choice Pack, which has been one of the few premium packs that haven't been readily accessible since they left the Show Shop. You'll also take home a Vault pack, which will provide a chance to pull from essentially every Diamond pack card that's been released to this point.
Pipeline Conquest
A new Conquest map also appears, with a reasonable number of Strongholds that should keep it a relatively short grind. The best part about the rewards change is that completing the map gets you 3 players now instead of the usual 1 for maps like this.
Rising Stars Event Program Breakdown
A new Event has also gone live, providing players a chance to grab some No-Sell Choice Packs while using many of the new cards released today. Pipeline Series, Spring Breakout Series, players aged 25 & under, and Live Series Bronze & Common are the cards you can choose from to build your best squad.
Pipeline Pack Breakdown
The usual rotation of packs also hit the marketplace. At least at launch, the expected value on these packs isn't as bad as usual. I wouldn't ever recommend spending Stubs, but it's nice to see collections end up a bit cheaper if the market actually stays down on these somewhat. I will say that in my experience, many of these prospect cards don't perform well offensively since they often lack meaningful Quirks. That isn't to say every card will be flat, but it's a somewhat useful way to truly differentiate between players that have never appeared in MLB and the top stars of today and yesterday.
The cards featured in this pack are:
- Franklin Arias, SS BOS (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Ryan Sloan, SP SEA (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Theo Gillen, CF TB (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Rainiel Rodriguez, C STL (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Cam Caminiti, SP ATL (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Walker Jenkins, RF MIN (99 OVR Pipeline)
- JoJo Parker, SS TOR (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Jamie Arnold, SP ATH (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Edward Florentino, CF PIT (99 OVR Pipeline)
- Kendry Chourio, SP KC (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Aiva Arquette, SS MIA (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Seaver King, SS WSH (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Jacob Reimer, 3B NYM (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Xavier Neyens, 3B HOU (98 OVR Pipeline)
- Charlie Condon, 1B COL (98 OVR Pipeline)

Collect 20 Pipeline - SP Kade Anderson
Collect 30 Pipeline - RF Josue De Paula
Collect 40 Pipeline - SS Jesus Made
Set and Card Review
The Pipeline series is always a fun addition, as introducing the next wave of top prospects injects a ton of freshness into Diamond Dynasty. Many teams get new cards for theme teams, and we get a glimpse at future superstars before they debut in Major League Baseball. The card art is kept simple, which fits the theme, and they have a "real card" feel to them.
The more interesting cards in the set for me are perhaps the most obvious.
Jesus Made, highlighted above, is absolutely nasty, as his 88 OVR Spring Breakout card was a blast to use earlier in the year. I'll have no problem completing the collection and potentially sliding Made into the shortstop position. My biggest positional need remains shortstop, and there's plenty of new options to choose from in this drop.
Leo De Vries happens to fit the bill as well, except he's not available in the program but instead is the featured player in Chase Pack 23. He's a certified meme-choice, and disgustingly so, as he's another switch-hitter with elite tools in every facet of his game. While he'll undoubtedly be expensive, you can also earn him for free by grinding out a ton of stats with Pipeline cards. This is similar to the 2026 All-Star content that featured a grind for Byron Buxton.
You'll need to grind out 250,000 PXP with the specified set(s) in addition to other stats, but the result is a free 99 OVR shortstop with elite tools. If you're running out of fresh ways to play, bulking up a team to take on this massive grind will have a sweet reward at the end.
My Legacy can be accessed in the Assorted Programs tab.
August Spotlight Program Breakdown
On massive drops like today, the Spotlight content always gets cast to the side.
Gunnar Henderson is doing his best to change that this week.
Gunnar is one of the best young MLB players around, and also happens to be a shortstop. I love his swing, and he has massive power for a shortstop, with solid Fielding and Speed despite being terrible at coming in on the ball. That said, this is a fine shortstop that certainly fits the "budget" theme that many often look for to fill out their roster.
August Spotlight Pack Breakdown
The pack cards this week are:
- Jeff McNeil, 2B ATH (99 OVR Spotlight)
- Ben Joyce, CP LAA (99 OVR Spotlight)
- Sterlin Thompson, LF COL (97 OVR Topps Now)
- Noah Cameron, SP KC (97 OVR Topps Now)
- Brett Callahan, LF DET (97 OVR Topps Now)
In case you were unaware that Ben Joyce is a certified killer, Stuff Daddy has some of the craziest attributes on a reliever to this point. Outlier 4-Seamer, power sinker, unhittable slider, and a changeup just to throw for fun.
There's your content heading into the weekend. What are you grinding first? Let us know in the comments!
