If you've been close to completing collections, now might be the time to make a final push.
MLB The Show 25 currently has a Stub sale ongoing through May 21st. Whether you've been working on the expansive Scott Rolen Collection, or still working through the Live Series collection, Stub sales can be a double-edged sword requiring some careful navigation.
Stacking Stubs

Whether you work the market through investments, or buy Stubs whenever you want to enjoy the game at your pace, Stub sales can obviously make it easier to pad your balance. Grabbing a discount of up to 30% off will greatly reduce your upfront cost, but being mindful of the market is also important.
As many will purchase Stubs during sales, the market prices on cards will increase as extra Stubs are flooding said market. If you're simply looking to complete collections or buy cards as fast as possible, this might not matter much to you.
However, the rest of us can benefit from patience while the market increases play out.
I'm exactly one Jose Ramirez away from completing the AL Central, thus completing the American League collection and unlocking Roger Clemens. My approach to The Show this year has been relying on packs and cards earned by playing, as I haven't purchased Stubs since Early Access. I have no problem buying Stubs during a sale like this, but I also employ some patience by waiting to see how much cards drop after the sale. Ramirez is currently spiked about 10% over the last 24 hours as of publication, which might not sound like much, but that's close to 18,000 Stubs more expensive than before the Stub sale.
As I've been on a mission to spend less in-game this year, waiting for the sale to end can mean a savings of possibly 20,000+ Stubs which will come in handy as I begin rebuilding toward completing the rest of the Live Series collection.
