Ranked Rewards
The newest Ranked rewards feature Retro Finest Nolan Arenado and Awards Rob Dibble.
Retro Finest Arenado returns us to his peak years in Colorado, giving us the #4 3B according to Meta Overall. Max attributes against LHP, max Clutch, and healthy numbers against RHP with the expected 99 Fielding make this a sweet Arenado. He has a great swing and is always a blast to use, and represents a very good option at the hot corner despite the massive competition every position faces now with 99 overalls running free.
Awards Dibble is every bit of the Nasty Boy self he always is with the Outlier 4-Seamer and insane Slider/Cutter combo. Dibble is maxed out everywhere you want a reliever to be, and the 88 BB/9 is fairly decent for a flamethrower. His overall control is suitable to his player-type, so while you won't necessarily dot; he should still locate well enough with the massive stuff to be as effective as he is every year with his 99's.
Weekend Classic
For anyone that missed this past weekend, Milestone Mickey Mantle and Milestone Zack Wheeler were the latest Weekend Classic rewards to hit Diamond Dynasty. You can't earn them through gameplay anymore, but if you have a boatload of Stubs saved, you can grab two of the latest hyper-competitive rewards.
Both cards currently rate out at #3 at their respective positions. Wheeler has insane attributes along with a nasty pitch mix, including a 4-Seamer that will touch 100 MPH and an Outlier Sinker. He comes with a funky motion that can definitely mess with timing, and this is one of the best Wheelers (if not the best) we've ever seen.
Mantle is doing Mickey Mantle things with nearly maxed out major offensive attributes with Diamond Fielding and 93 Speed. If you want to knock the card, it's the sub-100 Vision (97) and lack of Stealing ability but there's no reason to knock this card. It's absurd across the board attribute-wise, on a switch-hitting body that has a great swing.
Given the late season release, lower player base, and onslaught of cards hitting DD you'll still have to shell out 300,000+Stubs to nab these cards but they're certainly two of the best options at their respective positions in Diamond Dynasty.
Will you be grinding Multiplayer for any of these new cards? Let us know!
