This weekend not only brings Halloween, but the latest Weekend Classic in Diamond Dynasty. For those looking for the most competitive MLB The Show 25 gameplay has to offer, Weekend Classic has provided that in spades this year.
The competitive-focused mode, featuring leaderboards and divisional rankings, has been a huge hit this year and the rewards continue to match the competitive flair.
2025 Finest Jose Ramirez
First up in this new rewards pack is Jose Ramirez. Ramirez continues his Hall of Fame trajectory with a stellar 2025 season, and like clockwork, he gets an absurdly powerful Finest card.
With elite Contact and Clutch attributes, and massive Power against RHP; Ramirez also brings Diamond Fielding at the hot corner with 83 Speed and 99 Stealing. Wrapped up with switch-hitting capability and a great swing, Jose 2025 Finest Jose Ramirez is a fitting Weekend Classic reward.
Hall of Fame Satchel Paige
Next up is Hall of Fame Satchel Paige. What is there to really say about Satchel? One of the most legendary pitchers in the history of professional baseball, Satchel Paige's Hall of Fame card is disgustingly good. Landing as the #7 SP in Meta Overall, Paige features 125 Stamina, 120 H/9, 108 K/9, 100 BB/9 and 125 Clutch.
Along with the elite attributes, Satchel gets an Outlier 4-Seamer to go with a trio of nearly immaculate breaking balls and a mid-90's Sinker. Satchel's "worst" pitch is the 5th-pitch Sinker, which has 90 Control and 90 Break.
Suffice to say, Paige is difficult to hit no matter the card composition - and this is possibly the best version we've seen.
Spooky Jasson Dominguez
Finally, there's a "special" reward of sorts in this round of Weekend Classic. Dominguez isn't featured in the Weekend Classic Choice Pack or Rewind packs, but is instead earnable as a leaderboard reward or in the win path.
Beginning in Silver, players can unlock this card by finishing in the requisite leaderboard positions at the top of their respective division. In higher divisions, Dominguez is earned within the win path, which offers a bit of an easier path for players in the higher tiers.
For those unable to earn Dominguez this way, the card is sellable and will be purchasable on the marketplace.
Spooky Dominguez not be a "featured" reward in this round, but he's still landing as the #3 LF according to Meta Overall. For good reason, he's a well balanced offensive and defensive card with great Speed.
