How To Complete the Egg Hunt Program in MLB The Show 26

The Egg Hunt program brings back one of Diamond Dynasty's most popular seasonal events with new mystery riddles, hidden eggs across multiple game modes, and exclusive player rewards. Whether you're grinding Moments, running Conquest, or knocking out missions in Diamond Quest, there's something here for every type of player. You don't need to complete everything to earn the top rewards — focus on what you enjoy and rack up program stars along the way.

Egg Collection

Collecting each egg set rewards 10 program stars in the Egg Hunt Program, offering a total of 50 program stars. This means you can play online for a bit to skip out on offline grinding and vice versa.

10,000 Stubs gets you a random Egg Hunt series card and can be purchased an unlimited amount of times.

Diamond Quest

Egg Hunt Diamond Quest includes 20 Moments, Showdowns, Stadium Challenges, and Zone Sweeper rounds. Completing these earns you the Pink and Purple eggs. The Moments are straightforward — most require getting hits, extra-base hits, or strikeouts with specific players. If you're stuck on a home run Moment, try switching to Directional Hitting and pointing up to increase your fly ball odds.

Conquest

Egg Hunt Conquest Map is a smaller map that you can complete in about 20-30 minutes. Capture territories to earn the Blue and Yellow eggs. Rush the strongholds — don't bother filling every hex first. Sim everything except stronghold games and you'll be done fast. Check our Conquest page for the full map with hidden reward locations.

Chase Pack 4

Chase Pack 4 is also available this week featuring 92 OVR Mookie Betts. Chase Packs are separate from the Egg Hunt and can be purchased in the store for Stubs.

Tips for Completing the Egg Hunt Quickly

• Start with knocking out the 4 moments - easy peasy.
• Then hit the mystery missions — they're 10 stars each and most can be done in a single game
• Knock out the Conquest map next (20-30 min, earns 2 eggs)
• Use the Mission Optimizer to find which players cover the most missions across programs
• For online requirements (doubles, stolen bases), play Events — games are shorter and less competitive than Ranked
• For the "Back series" missions requiring Cardinals XBH, load up your lineup with all four players and play a single game

Closing Thoughts

The Egg Hunt Program is always a ton of fun, and it feels a bit easier to complete this year. There's a bit more variety that allows you to complete the program how you want, versus being locked into a rigid way to complete.

It's a fun way for players to try game modes they might not have tried yet, and there's sweet rewards along the way.
