As we eagerly await more details on MLB The Show 26, SDS dropped a bit of a surprise with the official reveal of MLB The Show Mobile.
There was speculation earlier in the year that a mobile version was coming, thanks to job postings essentially revealing that one was in development. That speculation is now confirmed reality.
While there hasn't been an official "announcement" yet, the game was basically stealth dropped exclusively in the Philippines. As of publication, that is the only region with access to the game - at least utilizing "official means." There is also a website currently live at www.theshowmobile.com.
You can enter your email address and region to sign-up for news as it is released.

Android – Samsung Galaxy S25, Sony Xperia V, or comparable. It's not surprising to see that the Mobile version won't have cross-play with consoles, but the array of devices that will be able to run the game does sound fairly limited to beefier phones. Not being able to use iPads or tablets is a big deal as well.
We'll have more information as it becomes available, but this is a big addition to The Show's footprint. We wrote about the possibility of the franchise finally coming to PC a while ago, after a job posting revolving around PC design was revealed.
If a Mobile game came to fruition after a similar job posting, it seems like a strong indication that MLB The Show 26 may truly be making a generational leap.
Stay tuned for more.
