How To Complete the 2025 All-Star Game Collection in MLB The Show 25
The 2025 All-Star Game Collection in MLB The Show 25 is officially live, and it’s one of the most ambitious content drops of the year. With 59 cards currently eligible toward rewards—and a handful locked behind unique modes—this guide will help you chart the clearest and most cost-effective path to unlocking every tier, including the crown jewel: 99 Overall Aaron Judge.
Let’s break it all down—pack structure, acquisition tips, and strategic alternatives.
Collection Rewards Overview
Here’s the full breakdown of rewards and how many cards you need to collect:
- 5 Cards – 2025 All-Star Deluxe Pack
- 15 Cards – 97 Josh Hader
- 30 Cards – 98 Garrett Crochet
- 45 Cards – 99 Jose Ramirez
- 50 Cards – 99 Shohei Ohtani (non-pitcher)
- 55 Cards – 99 Aaron Judge
As of now, there are 59 eligible cards. Meaning: you can skip 4, including some of the more difficult or expensive ones, and still reach Judge.
Earning Cards: Team Affinity My Journey Vouchers
Every team in Team Affinity now offers a 2025 All-Star My Journey Voucher at 285,000 TA Points. These vouchers can be redeemed for any of the 30 All-Star cards, all of which are also Captain cards that boost other cards from their team.
Pro Tip: The Color Storm PXP missions grant 150,000 TA Points just for earning 500 PXP with that card. This can help you complete a team’s voucher path much faster. If you haven't done so already, grind the Color Storm program for the teams you need and obtain the Color Storm series card. Knock out the 500 PXP and you're boosting your way through the My Journey program, also earning packs and other rewards along the way.
If you're looking to stack the deck competitively or focus on favorites, the free ASG Voucher from this week's pack drop lets you choose any team, whether you're way behind or already done grinding. If you've got everything done, or you simply like free packs, you can also choose a free Deluxe edition of the 2025 All-Star Game Choice Pack instead of a team voucher.
Pack Acquisitions: Where the Bulk of Cards Reside
Most of the 2025 ASG cards come from packs available for a limited time (until July 25):
- Standard Choice Pack (20k, 3x limit)
- Premier Pack (25k, unlimited)
- Deluxe Pack (10k, unlimited)
- Ultra Pack (50k, 1x limit)
- Preview Bundle (75k, 2x limit, includes Chase 18)
- Chase Pack 18 – features 99 Overall Ketel Marte
There are 16 cards total in the Choice Pack pool. You’ll need to open or buy strategically to maximize your haul. For a more complete breakdown of the All-Star Game Choice Pack, check out our post detailing all the packs that dropped on Friday here.
Free Content Sources
Not every card needs to be or even can be purchased. Here’s how to knock out several cards through grinding:
Mini Seasons: 97 Overall Kyle Schwarber

- Unlocked for winning the Midsummer Classic Mini Seasons Championship
- 95 overall Edwin Diaz, Jonathan Aranda, and 96 overall Bryan Woo are also earned by completing missions in this Mini Seasons exclusively. The Mini Seasons rewards cannot be purchased via the marketplace
Diamond Quest Epics: 97 Javy Báez and 97 Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
- These two are Epic tier rewards in the new Diamond Quest map that features Moments celebrating All-Star Game history.
- These cards can be bought and sold on the marketplace.
Showdown: 96 Overall Logan Webb
- Logan Webb is the reward for completing the ASG Showdown that dropped alongside the All-Star content Friday.

Prediction Vouchers and Freebies
- Don’t forget to grab the Prediction Voucher Pack from the Show Shop, where you’ll pick:
- Home Run Derby winner
- Longest HR
- Most HR in a round
- All-Star Game winner
Rewards are granted after the respective events and will include additional 2025 ASG content, possibly including more cards eligible for this collection.
Pro Tips for Finishing the Collection
You only need 55 out of 59 cards, so there’s room to make smart choices. Here are a few strategic paths for those looking to balance time and Stubs, and those ready to spend away towards Judge:
Budget-Friendly
- Skip 99 Ketel Marte from Chase Pack 18 (expensive, RNG-heavy).
- Grind Team Affinity for 8–10 vouchers.
- Complete Mini Seasons for Schwarber and friends.
- Finish Showdown for Logan Webb.
- Knock out both Diamond Quest Epic rewards.
- Open 3 Standard Packs, 2 Deluxe, and 1 Premier—then buy 3–5 cheaper ASG cards off the market to close the gap.
- Adjust the number of packs you're looking to open based off your pulls from any packs, and balance with the vouchers you may have unlocked already. This will be different for everyone so use these parameters as a guide.
This path avoids the most volatile RNG and costs you less than loading up on Premier or Ultra packs. Rip away, but if you're looking to maximize value you'll be much better off buying everything available right now.
Stub-Heavy Route for Collectors
- Buy the Preview Bundle (x2) for Chase 18 attempts and extra Choice Packs.
- Purchase a few Premier Packs for better odds at 98+.
- Redeem all 30 TA vouchers.
- Clean up any gaps with purchases from the market.
You can purchase the Diamond Quest rewards to save time. However, you'll still need to complete offline content to complete the collection. So if you're spending Stubs, you might as well pick and choose what you enjoy grinding and just buy out the other options.
Collection Rewards
unknown nodeUnsurprisingly, 99 overall 2025 All-Star series Aaron Judge is one of the top cards in all of Diamond Dynasty. Judge debuts as the #6 overall card in DD according to True Overall, and he's #5 overall in terms of pure position players. Judge's live series card has been one of the best hitters all year, especially with Inside Edge boosts. This version gets markedly better Fielding, which makes him even more valuable.
Jose Ramirez and Shohei Ohtani also find themselves in the Top-10 True Overall position players. As it should be expected, as 99 overalls are going to become more common and easily shift the True and Meta Overall ratings. It's worth noting that this 2025 All-Star Shohei Ohtani is not a two-way version, but does get corner outfield eligibility - though his Fielding ratings aren't great. As a pure-DH, he's absolutely perfect.
Final Thoughts
Whether you're a heavy grinder or a strategic Stub-spender, the 2025 All-Star Game Collection offers a satisfying chase with layered reward tiers and one of the best Judge cards we’ve seen. Don’t let the 59-card total intimidate you—be efficient, leverage the free content, and take advantage of Double XP and PXP while it’s live.
This is the first of several content drops celebrating All-Star week, and we'll most certainly see additional collections for the MLB Draft and Home Run Derby. As constructed, each series will have their own respective collections and there won't be crossover between them to make it easier. Form a plan, focus your grind, and use our guides as needed to get the most efficient use of your time and Stubs!
