With the All-Star break imminent, MLB The Show 25 just dropped a monster wave of packs centered around the 2025 All-Star Game. Whether you’re gunning for the collection rewards, chasing Ketel Marte, or just cracking packs to celebrate the weekend - there's plenty to choose from here.
This pack wave ties directly into the 2025 ASG Collection, which features 99 Shohei Ohtani, 99 Aaron Judge, and more. Double XP and PXP are also active through July 25, making this the perfect time to grind.

- Redeem this to immediately unlock that team’s ASG card
- Perfect for those who haven’t made progress in all divisions—or for those who’ve completed the grind and want a Deluxe ASG Pack instead. You choose between the voucher and free ASG Deluxe Pack
- Available for a limited time, expires in 9 days

- Lets you pick outcomes for:
- Home Run Derby winner
- Longest HR

These prediction packs are low effort with solid upside, especially if they feed back into the ASG Collection.
2025 All-Star Game Choice Packs
Here’s a breakdown of the different pack options and their odds:
Standard ASG Choice Pack
- Cost: 20,000 Stubs
- Odds: 1:3 for 97+, 1:10 for 98+
- Limit: 3 per user
- Contains: One pull from a specific tier (you choose your card based on the tier pulled)
Premier ASG Pack
- Cost: 25,000 Stubs
- Odds: 1:2 for 97+, 1:5 for 98+
- Limit: No cap
- Contains: 3 total ASG Choice Pack diamonds
This pack improves odds while giving you multiple shots per pack. Best value for bulk collectors trying to chip away at the 59-card ASG pool.
Deluxe ASG Pack
- Cost: 10,000 Stubs
- Odds: 1:5 for 97+, 1:20 for 98+
- Limit: Unlimited
- Contains: 1 random ASG Choice Pack card (no selection, no Marte)
Budget-friendly but risky. No card selection. If you’re Stub-light but still grinding the collection, this is your value shot.
Ultra ASG Pack
- Cost: 50,000 Stubs
- Limit: 1 per user
- Contains: 5 ASG Choice Pack cards (4x 96+, 1x guaranteed 97+)
- Odds: 1:2 for 98+
For whales, big grinders, or anyone trying to skip RNG. You’ll get five cards with at least one guaranteed mid-tier diamond or better. Major booster for the ASG Collection.
Preview Bundle
- Cost: 75,000 Stubs
- Limit: 2 per user
- Contains:
- 2 Standard ASG Choice Packs (worth 40k)
- 1 Chase Pack 18 (value placed at 35k)
- Chase Pack 18 features: 99 Overall Ketel Marte
If you're feeling lucky and want a crack at Marte while doubling up on ASG Choice cards, this is the premium bundle.
Chase Pack 18: Ketel Marte
- Chase Reward: 99 Overall Ketel Marte
- Odds: Unlisted, but previous trends suggest ~1:10 shot
- Pack Appearance: Inside the Preview Bundle or via Show Packs at random, included with every 50-pack Show Bundle purchased
Marte is a major flex for the collection, one of the most popular DD-players, but also expensive and not mandatory. Skip him if you’re looking to save and pursue Judge through grindable means instead.
July Spotlight Week 1 Pack
- Cost: 25,000 Stubs
- Limit: 3 per user
- Ties directly into: July Spotlight Drop 1 Program
- Contains this week’s Topps Now and Spotlight cards, both of which feed into new collection missions for July
Featured cards:
- Brandon Woodruff, SP, Milwaukee Brewers (97 OVR)
- Willy Adames, SS, San Francisco Giants (97 OVR)
- Teoscar Hernández, RF, Los Angeles Dodgers (95 OVR)
- Matt Shaw, 3B, Chicago Cubs (95 OVR)
- Colby Thomas, RF, Athletics (95 OVR)
Headliners 23 – Billy Williams
- Featured Card: 96 Overall Second Half Billy Williams
- Cost: 7,500 Stubs
- Limit: 5 packs per user
- Available in Show Shop for a limited time
If you’re collecting all Headliners or a fan of lefty pop, Williams is worth the rip. But remember—these are true lottery packs with no guaranteed diamond pulls.
Final Thoughts
The ASG content drop is dense, but loaded with value. Whether you’re buying Standard Packs, chasing Marte, or stockpiling cards for the Collection, the pack structure gives plenty of flexibility based on your Stub count and grind preference. Most of all; this is just the beginning. We'll be getting separate pack drops for the MLB Draft and Home Run Derby, with separate collections coming as well. It's also safe to assume some unannounced surprises are coming as well.
Double XP and PXP are active through July 25, making this the perfect window to complete missions, rip packs, and push for the 2025 All-Star Collection!
