Sony announced back in December of 2019 that MLB The Show would be going multi-platform. That feels like a lifetime ago at this point, yet the last three iterations of the game have all been multi-platform.
A one-time PlayStation exclusive, MLB The Show branched out to arch rival Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It made sense – every other major sports game is multi-platform. Considering Major League Baseball has been working to expand the reach of the game, opening up the virtual diamond to all modern console players was a no-brainer.
One unexpected nuance to this announcement, however, was the news that MLB The Show 21 would not only arrive on Xbox consoles – but it was a Day One Game Pass title. Meaning, anyone subscribed to Game Pass on Xbox would be able to download and play the game without purchasing it. This was a huge coup for Xbox as Sony had no means of matching this and an even bigger win for Sony San Diego as even more players would get their hands on the title.

MLB The Show 22 and MLB The Show 23 both followed suit as Day One Game Pass launches.
What about MLB The Show 24?
Will MLB The Show 24 Be on Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox gamers can rejoice as MLB The Show 24 will in fact arrive on Xbox Game Pass yet again. A Day One release will accompany the game’s official launch on March 19. If you want to hit the diamond sooner you’ll be able to purchase the Digital Deluxe Add-On Bundle and not only get all the pre-order bonuses, but you’ll unlock Early Access.

Simply put, Game Pass subscribers can pre-install the game since it’s coming to Game Pass and pay $39.99 to unlock Early Access. That’s a pretty sweet deal no matter how you slice it.
The Digital Deluxe Add-On Bundle includes: 20,000 Stubs, 2 Diamond Choice Packs, 5 Gold Choice Packs, 20 The Show Packs, 1 Equipment Pack, 1 Cover Athlete Bat Skin and Double Daily Rewards.
If you’re not interested in Early Access or any pre-order bonuses, then you can still pre-install the game now and be ready for launch on March 19.
