The 2026 Hall of Fame ballot was recently released, sparking the passionate debate amongst fans and outlets on who deserves to be enshrined next year in Cooperstown.
The "formal" Baseball Writers' Association of America results will be released in January, but we learned during the winter meetings that 2B Jeff Kent is the lone inductee from the Contemporary Era Committee.
Now seems like a fun time to look back on this year in Diamond Dynasty, and talk about the 10 best Hall of Fame series cards in MLB The Show 25.
Top-10 Hall of Fame Series Cards According to Meta Overall
There's always plenty of nuance to debate the top cards in Diamond Dynasty. Attributes are almost always king, ruling over the overall performance a card should be expected to put up. Yet, intricacies like swing and Quirks for hitters, and pitch mix and speed differential for pitchers, can shake up any discussion.
Using the player database here at ShowZone, we're able to sort the full database of Diamond Dynasty cards down to only the Hall of Fame Series.
From there, I sorted by "Meta Overall" at primary position to get the full top-10 list. As of December 7, 2025, the list is:

Many of these players have received amazing cards throughout the years, perhaps some even better than what we saw in MLB The Show 25. However, part of the fun of the Hall of Fame series is how the cards are built from an overview of each player's respective careers, with the card art featuring their Hall of Fame busts.
The Hall of Fame series is one of my favorite card series in the game, as it combines the modern "ultimate team" modus operandi with the historical aspect of MLB's history.
Honorable Mentions
The top-10 list above features the very best Hall of Fame series cards according to Meta Overall, but that doesn't mean they're the only worthy cards.

Lee Smith is routinely one of my favorite relief pitchers in Diamond Dynasty, as he features an unhittable pitch mix with elite attributes.

Dick Allen was one of the more exciting legends to see added this year, though disappointingly his Hall of Fame series card was locked behind an expensive collection.

Gil Hodges was another new legend added this year that I was personally excited to see. Hodges was a name that came up in pretty much every historical baseball book I read as a kid, and his card absolutely rakes.
Who were some of your favorite Hall of Fame series cards this year?
