In MLB The Show’s Diamond Dynasty mode, quicksell values act as a “floor” for card prices, while max prices serve as caps on what certain rarities can sell for. This guide offers a comprehensive table listing specific quicksell values and max price caps for each overall rating and/or rarity, making it easy to reference values for any card. Understanding these values is essential for maximizing stubs when flipping cards.
All card sales incur a 10% transaction fee. For instance, if you sell an 83 overall Gold player card with a quicksell value of 1,200 stubs at 1,333 stubs or less, you’ll only receive 1,199 stubs or less after the fee. Knowing this can help you decide when to quicksell instead of listing on the marketplace.
CORE player cards retain full quicksell values, while non-CORE cards have a quicksell value set at 50% of the CORE quicksell amount (rounded down). This impacts profitability when managing cards in the marketplace.
Quicksell values aren’t just the minimum price you can get for a card—they also provide an opportunity for a strategy known as No Risk Flipping. Because quicksell values represent the absolute “floor” price for a card, players can use this to their advantage by securing cards at or near these values. This tactic opens up a unique flipping opportunity with little to no risk.
With No Risk Flipping, the idea is simple: buy cards in bulk at or close to their quicksell value. Since you’re acquiring them at the lowest possible price, you can attempt to resell those cards on the marketplace with zero financial risk. If the market fluctuates or if you find it challenging to sell them at a profit, you can always quicksell the cards and immediately recover your initial investment. This strategy provides a safety net that removes the uncertainty usually associated with market fluctuations.
For an in-depth guide on how to use No Risk Flipping to earn stubs without needing constant market monitoring, check out our No Risk Flipping Video on YouTube. There, we explain how to spot ideal cards for this method, how bulk purchasing can work to your advantage, and how to identify the best quicksell-based flips.
