The World Baseball Classic brought high-intensity games, and now we get a heaping serving of content based off the tournament.
The Recap Program features a ton of WBC card rewards, and feeds into a bigger collection for a 94 overall Maikel Garcia card.
Program Breakdown

It'll take 100 program stars to complete the Recap Program.
Moments
There's 26 Moments worth a total of 52 program stars.
That's half the battle, but if Moments aren't you're thing you'll have some other options.
Optional Collections
If you've completed any of the WBC Pool Programs (A,B,C,D) or the WBC Mini Seasons, you can collect the rewards for each of those programs and earn 10 program stars.
Collecting WBC Nolan Arenado, Bryce Harper, Hyun-min Ahn, Didi Gregorius, and/or Alex Bregman will reward the program stars.
Stat Missions
There's also a handful of stat based missions to earn progress.

You'll earn these naturally if you're using WBC cards anywhere. I've been having a blast with the WBC Moonshot Event, and making progress pretty much across the entire game without worrying about wins has been refreshing.
Rewards
The ultimate prize at the end of the program path is 89 WBC Eduardo Rodriguez.

Rodriguez debuts as a top-10 option at SP, which is certainly more valuable at the beginning of the year. Relatively strong Clutch supports a card that is fairly consistent against all hitters, though the lack of Velocity can sometimes hinder cards like this.
That said, we do get a Cutter/Sinker combination with a Circle Change that has a ton of sink to it.
WBC Collection Reward - 94 WBC 3B Maikel Garcia

After earning MVP honors, Maikel Garcia becomes the first big collection reward - and it's a doozy.
To unlock Garcia, you'll need to collect 142 WBC series cards. There's a total of 144 WBC cards in the game now with a total of eight new cards in the Recap Program. Launch collection reward Fernando Tatis Jr. required 110 cards, which means you'll really be working toward Garcia.
Closing Thoughts
A 94 overall is enticing, but it remains to be seen what the power creep looks like. Last year, early collections were incredibly expensive. Considering they're lower-rated diamonds, the fact that "better" cards were "cheaper" as the year went on might serve as a cautionary tale this year. If the next major collections are significantly better cards, it makes the prospect of set collections less enticing.
