MLB The Show 26 Legends Trailer Debut

With one more week before Early Access, MLB The Show 26 has made it to the legends trailer. Each year, this trailer is the first look at many of the new legends added to the game.

40+ New Legends

An accompanying blog went live today as well, with SDS officially stating that 40+ new legends are in the game this year.

We know we're getting 10 legends from Season 4 of Storylines, and Adam Jones announced himself that he's in the game this year. While it hasn't been confirmed he's actually in the game yet, Buster Posey's name appeared in the Road to the Show Premiere a couple of weeks ago. The only names listed in the NCAA alumni section were current players, or other legends featured in the game.

If we account for the 10 Negro Leagues legends total with the other new legends in the trailer, that gives us a total of 21 new legends. Adding in Jones and/or Posey gives us more than a dozen legends yet to be revealed as well.

In terms of returning legends, there's plenty of big names not listed that should certainly be making their returns as well.
