99 overall Biz Mackey is just absurd.
Easily the most unique card in Diamond Dynasty history. Biz Mackey has eligibility at every single fielding position. Yes, he can play every single position on the diamond except pitcher. We've seen it, but not on a card with these attributes.
120/125/125 Contact and Clutch splits with 90+ Power against both sides. Switch-hitting and literally 99 at every defensive attribute. And with 77 Speed to boot.
This is just undeniably cool. And incredible and all the things.
Mackey's "worst" position is LF according to his Meta Overall ranking, where he's only the 6th best in the game. He's the best catcher which is his primary position, and top-6 everywhere else. A truly remarkable card that is certainly worthy of the Chase card designation.
Chase packs are found in random standard Show pack drops, and also included with every 50-pack bundle purchased in the Show Shop. Look for them in random content drops and flash sales as well.
Closing Thoughts
The Weekend Classic features two absurdly good rewards that will be two of the best cards we see for the rest of the year. When it comes to a competitive incentive to play, Randy Johnson and Jackie Robinson provide it in spades. A fun Headliner featuring Chicago Cubs-represented Jason Heyward, and the single most unique card we've ever seen in Chase 23's Biz Mackey.
