The 2025 World Series is upon us, with the Los Angeles Dodgers facing off against the Toronto Blue Jays for the championship. Seeing the Dodgers in the Series isn't a surprise, and many expect the Los Angeles squad to win another title. However, the Toronto Blue Jays are riding a tidal wave of momentum and will look to dethrone one of MLB's perennial contenders.
Simulation Parameters
There's some important caveats to the simulation method here. Unfortunately, there's no way in MLB The Show 25 to force results in Franchise or Postseason Mode to organically get a Los Angeles/Toronto matchup properly. In order to simulate the series, I loaded the most recent and most downloaded current roster I could find in a reasonable amount of time. The roster I used is called "Up 2 Date" by user BER4CAT_827.

It's also important to note that I did my best to try and line up the rotation and starting lineups to mirror what we'll see. Because of the limitations in trying to run a simulation like this, there was some creative licensing used. Additionally, the Dodgers and Blue Jays only played three regular season games against each other.
To run the simulation, I loaded the updated roster, simulated the season to the 3-game series and then ran the simulation. This means I had to restart the file and run another simulation after the completion of the first three games. This would provide enough games worth of data to conclude a best-of-7 series.
Very tedious, but it gave us the ability to simulate an entire series worth of games.
Here's what MLB The Show 25 predicted for the 2025 World Series.
Game 1
Dodgers 10 Blue Jays 0
W: Yamamoto, L: Bieber

Dodgers chase Bieber after 4 1/3 Innings while Yamamoto throws a CG shutout, allowing 3 Hits with 11 K's. Tommy Edman, Shohei Ohtani, and Enrique Hernandez homer and drive in 7 of the 10 Los Angeles runs.
Game 2
Dodgers 3 Blue Jays 1
W: Ohtani, L: Gausman

Gausman gave up 3 runs on 7 hits while striking out 3 in 5 innings, while Ohtani goes 7 innings and strikes out 5 on 4 hits. Ohtani also doubled at the plate, as did Will Smith, who drove in 2 runs in addition to Freddie Freeman driving in 1 as the Dodgers take a commanding 2-0 lead.
Game 3
Blue Jays 9 Dodgers 10
W: Yates, L: Mantiply

The Blue Jays finally awaken at the plate, but can't finish the job. Tyler Glasnow gave up 14 hits and 4 earned runs while striking out 6 in 5 innings. Trey Yesavage went 3 innings and gave up 5 runs on 4 hits. Daulton Varsho homered and doubled for the Blue Jays, with Vladdy, Santander, and George Springer also adding extra base bits. Santander and Varsho both drove in 4 runs. For the Dodgers, Tommy Edman and Shohei Ohtani both homered again and drove in 5 combined runs. Mookie Betts drove in 3 to help the Dodgers take a suffocating 3 game lead and look to close out the Series with a clean sweep.
Game 4
Blue Jays 6 Dodgers 5
W: Garcia, L: Graterol

The Blue Jays pick up a win to stay alive thanks to Vlad Jr's 2-HR game where he drove in 5 of Toronto's 6 runs. Berrios went 5 innings striking out 4 on 8 hits, dueling with Blake Snell who also went 5 innings and gave up 5 Hits with 4 Strikeouts. The Blue Jays stay alive, but will remain in Los Angeles for Game 5 with how homefield advantage works in the playoffs.
Game 5
Blue Jays 6 Dodgers 7
W: Yates, L: Yesavage

The Dodgers ride homers from Tommy Edman, Shohei Ohtani, and Enrique Hernandez to the world series title. This is the second game of the series that Edman, Ohtani, and Hernandez homered in the same game - a first in World Series history. Ohtani drove in 4 runs and pitched 4 innings while capturing the World Series MVP. The Blue Jays put up a valiant effort to continue the series, with Vlad, Bo Bichette, and Daulton Varsho homering in defeat. Yet, the powerhouse Dodgers could not be defeated and capture the title at home in Dodger Stadium.

2025 World Series Champions - Los Angeles Dodgers
The result many picked before the season, and another title for the Los Angeles dynasty. Shohei Ohtani grows his superhuman myth even more, capturing the World Series MVP, while future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw wins a World Series title in his final season.
