This five-minute video is quite the appetizer.
One of the first big morsels is the revelation that a new attribute and perk system is in place. No longer will your ballplayer level-up through gameplay results. Instead, you’ll earn tokens that can be used to unlock perks and upgrade attributes. This adds a more robust RPG-style upgrade system that should allow players to truly create their own path to 99.
It also sounds like the Draft Combine will be optional. You can get drafted straight out of high school, or attend college and build your stock that way.
The perk system looks very clean and the interplay between earning tokens and customizing your ballplayer sounds hella fun.
Added depth with unique school traits.
There’s a plethora of quick-time events and new animations. Today’s Deep Dive is just the beginning of RTTS news dropping this week.
We’ll have you covered when more details become available.
