Key Changes in Ranked Seasons
- World Series Rewards at 800 Rating: Players reaching an 800 rating can now access the World Series Choice Pack, making top-tier rewards more attainable.
- Introduction of G.O.A.T. Difficulty: A new tier starting at a 1000 rating, offering exclusive rewards and heightened competition.
Exclusive Rewards at 1000 Rating
Achieving a 1000 rating unlocks a unique choice pack featuring special animated gold card art versions of the World Series rewards. These cards are non-sellable and serve as a testament to a player's elite status.
World Series Rewards
The initial World Series rewards include:
- Mickey Mantle: Renowned switch-hitting outfielder with exceptional power and speed.
- Steve Carlton: New legend introduced this season, celebrated for his dominant pitching repertoire.
Both cards are available through the World Series Choice Pack upon reaching the 800 rating threshold. Those reaching 1000 will be able to choose a non-sellable golden animated version of the cards from the World Series choice pack.

Closing Thoughts
MLB The Show 25's revamped Ranked Seasons structure offers a more accessible and rewarding experience. With adjustments to difficulty thresholds and the introduction of exclusive rewards at higher ratings, players have ample motivation to climb the ranks and showcase their skills. To me, there's much more incentive to play Ranked Seasons this year than there ever has been.
Remember: there's no dedicated program for Ranked or Battle Royale this year. The Multiplayer Program is where those rewards will be found this year.
What are your thoughts on these changes? Are you grinding Ranked?
