If it's scorching outside and you're staying in, MLB The Show 25 wants to keep you company with a huge batch of content. Packs for the risk takers, programs for the grinders, and Double PXP and XP for everyone.
Let's dig in.
Prime Series Packs
One of the more underrepresented card series, Prime, gets a program and pack combo today. The pack features ten total cards, topping out at 95 overall and featuring Jason Varitek and Terry Pendleton - a couple of switch-hitters that should get plenty of people excited.
The full list of cards found in the Prime Pack is:
- Jason Varitek, C, Boston Red Sox (95 OVR) - #2 C True Overall
- Terry Pendleton, 3B, Atlanta Braves (95 OVR) #5 3B True Overall
- Michael Young, SS, Texas Rangers (94 OVR)
- Jim Kaat, SP, Chicago White Sox (94 OVR)
- Tommy Pham, LF, St. Louis Cardinals (94 OVR)
- Luis Aparicio, SS, Baltimore Orioles (92 OVR)
- Bill Mazeroski, 2B, Pittsburgh Pirates (92 OVR)
- Robin Roberts, SP, Philadelphia Phillies (92 OVR)
- Hal Newhouser, SP, Detroit Tigers, (92 OVR)
- Raisel Iglesias, CP, Cincinnati Reds (92 OVR)
The Prime pack can be purchased in two forms.
Prime Deluxe Pack
The Deluxe pack costs 10,000 Stubs and features a singular, random Prime series card from the featured cards. Your odds of pulling anything better than the bottom tier start at 1:5 to hit the mid-tier, while the 95 tier features 1:20 odds.
There's no limit on how many of these you can buy, but as always, sniping these at quick-sell value are the most cost-efficient way forward if you want to complete the collection without going broke.
Prime Choice Pack
The more premium option costs 25,000 Stubs and offers you a tier to choose from versus random cards. Odds are a bit better, but you're still looking at 1:4 odds to hit mid-tier and 1:10 to hit the 95 tier. The Prime Choice Pack is limited to three packs per user and both versions of the pack expire in two weeks.
Chase Pack 16
Do you like expensive, hard-to-acquire cards? Well, boy do we have great news for you.

The latest Chase Pack features Trea Turner in Dodgers form, boasting a beefy 2nd Half Heroes iteration that's at least a new Turner to use.
Turner is a Diamond Dynasty Darling™ and routinely one of the most popular cards used, regardless of form or context. The 2nd Half Heroes Turner features elite Contact against both side, as well as elite Power vs LHP and Clutch. His weakest attributes are Vision and Power vs RHP, but that's hardly worth batting an eye at.
Passable Fielding at 2B with SS eligibility and 99 Speed round out what will surely be one of the most expensive card for the next several weeks. At least until the next switch-hitting superstar is packed into a Chase pack. Worth noting, this Turner doesn't have 99 Stealing but the 80 stock Stealing with 99 Speed should still get the job done consistently. Turner lands as the #1 SS according to True Overall.
Chase packs are exceptionally rare drops in standard Show packs, and are also featured in every 50-pack Show bundle. You can also get one in...
Vault Bundle
If you've snapped Stubs because of the Stub sale and they're burning a hole in your virtual wallet, SDS would like you to consider the Vault Bundle.
For a whopping 100,000 Stubs, you can purchase the Vault Bundle which features:
- 1 Vault Choice Pack
- 1 Premier Choice Pack
- 1 Chase Pack 16 (w/ Trea Turner)
I'm not the target audience for the pack, but from what I've seen on socials it appears the Vault Choice Pack presents a round of Diamonds that can feature Live Series and any other form of Diamond released in packs. You'll get to choose one of those Diamonds. The Premier Choice Pack should offer up a selection of previous premium sets, which then guarantees three Diamonds from that set. Of course, a free Chase Pack is self-explanatory and it's a crack at Trea Turner.
For 100,000 Stubs - this sounds absolutely awful. But freewill exists and I wish any purchasers divine luck. If you swing away on the Vault Bundle, drop into the comments and let us know if you beat the odds. You're limited to two Vault Bundle purchases at most over the next six days.
Double PXP/Double XP

Get your grinding in while you can! Double PXP and Double XP are live and active until July 3 at around 3 PM EST.
There's a new Diamond Quest map that features the new Prime Series packs as Epic rewards, and a new Conquest map to help you take advantage.
