MLB The Show 25: New Ranked Season, Multiplayer Forever Program Breakdown

Ranked Seasons has long been the premier place to play competitively within Diamond Dynasty. With the lack of other competitive modes utilizing your built squad, it's really the only place to play in a structured environment. Ranked Solo and Co-Op has featured fresh rewards every month, and now that the game is being sunset, we're getting a chance to re-earn previous rewards.

Ranked Rewind

Playing through Ranked will look and feel identical to how it always does. The change comes from the rewards once reaching World Series at 800 rating.

Instead of a Choice Pack of new cards, there is a Ranked Rewind pack available that allows players who make it that far to choose from any previous Ranked reward from the entire year. Additionally, anyone reaching 1000+ rating will get a Rewind pack of the gold art versions exclusively available to those reaching 1000+ rating. I'll never reach that rating in Ranked, and I felt like this was one of the coolest additions to Diamond Dynasty this year.

Notably, this should also significantly lower the cost of these rewards and make it easier for the big collections to finally get completed for many players.

Multiplayer Forever Program

Finally, the multiplayer program mirrors the main XP Path with the Multiplayer Forever Program bringing back all previous Multiplayer Program rewards in one giant, grindable program.

Every single card previously available in the multiplayer grind can be earned again, in 5-star increments, just by playing multiplayer modes in Diamond Dynasty.

There's no Rewind packs here - just each individual card earned along the path.

There are, however, 10-total each of the Ranked and Battle Royale Flawless Choice packs. Again, this is a huge deal as it not only allows players an organic way to earn some of the more expensive cards in the game - the overall cost of these cards should drop sharply.

This is an expansive program just like the Forever Program in the main path. Anyone continuing to play MLB The Show 25 over the winter months will have plenty of content to unlock, and finally completing the big collections is now attainable for the lot of us that simply didn't have the time or resources to complete them as they launched.
