The fresh round of Ranked rewards and new Multiplayer Program have landed in MLB The Show 25, headlined by Fernando Tatis Jr. and Oscar Charleston in Ranked with four-new cards in the Multiplayer Program.
Ranked Rewards
Awards SS Fernando Tatis Jr. (San Diego Padres) - #1 SS True and Meta Overall

What an absolute monster of a card. Tatis has one of the best swings in the game, and this card is a juiced up juggernaut at shortstop. Elite offensive attributes everywhere important except Vision, with 95 Fielding/90 Reaction and 92 Speed places Awards Tatis Jr. at the very top of both True and Meta Overall. As far as online Ranked rewards go, this is a genuine top-tier reward and worthy of the competitive grind.
Jin Kim CF Oscar Charleston - #2 CF True Overall; #3 1B True Overall

Oscar Charleston's new card also packs a punch. 100+ in every major offensive category except Vision, with 93 Fielding/90 Reaction and 99 Speed/Stealing is amazing. Oscar also has eligibility in RF and at 1B, making him a versatile top-tier 99 overall. At Parallel 2, he'll gain a Diamond shield at his secondary positions. As with most Negro League series cards, Charleston doesn't have any Quirks but the attributes are good enough on their own.
Multiplayer Program 7 – Drop 1
This program focuses on tallying Hits, Strikeouts, Runs, and PXP in online play. In a twist from previous Multiplayer Programs, there are enough missions available from day one to unlock all the rewards in the program. No more staggered mission drops to slowly unlock the reward path.

Card Rewards
Jim Kaat (#9 SP Meta Overall)- 10 stars
Kris Bryant (#7 3B Meta Overall) - 50 stars
Jason Kipnis (#8 2B Meta Overall) - 100 stars
Josh Gibson (#2 Catcher Meta Overall) - 130 stars
Quite the selection of rewards for a Multiplayer Program.
Kaat has an incredibly unique pitch mix, though its translation to online Diamond Dynasty play is to be contested with endgame attributes. A primary Slider at 88 MPH with max Break and Control, a Sweeping Curve at 74 MPH with 98 Control and 99 Break, and a Slurve at 83 MPH and 93 Control/95 Break is a diabolical trio. Curveballs usually aren't great, but the sweeping plane on Kaat's offering with three unique speeds supported by a mid-to-upper 90's Sinker and a Screwball is at the very least a fun mix to try online.
Bryant and Kipnis are two Diamond Dynasty darlings with great swings, packed on attribute-heavy cards. Bryant has catastrophically fallen off in real life, but his 99 overall Diamond Dynasty cards are still elite. Kipnis falls into the mix at the top of 2B-eligible players, but might not seem as exciting since everyone just had a chance to take Chase Utley in the previous Inning Program.
And Josh Gibson is a monster. With the thundering sound effect attached to his swing, Gibson brings a tantalizing mix of defensive potential with the nearly-maxed-out-everything- offensive profile. Eligible at 1B, 3B, and every OF position in addition to his primary Catcher, Gibson easily slots into the top-10 at every position according to Meta Overall. With a ton of premium Catchers being released as Chase cards or in premium packs all year, having a chance to get Josh Gibson free just by playing online is a great showing by SDS.
Headliners Set 29

And finally, a new Headliners pack hit the Show Shop today featuring Awards Ryan Howard. Howard's MVP card features massive Power against both sides with 100+ in all major categories...except Vision where he's at a paltry 60.
It's a Headliners card, which means it should eventually settle into the somewhat affordable range. He's a top-10 Meta 1B with a great swing, though he has plenty of competition at the position.
Headliners 29 is available in the Show Shop for 7500 Stubs per pack, with a purchase limit of 5 packs per user.
