Ranked Seasons
- All-Star difficulty now begins at 300 rating in Ranked Seasons instead of 400.
- The World Series Reward pack is now at 800 rating instead of 900.
- The World Series division difficulty remains at Hall of Fame.
- Legend difficulty begins at 900.

- G.O.A.T. difficulty begins at 1000. This is a huge change for the elite players and should have some interesting leaderboard effects.
- Hitting G.O.A.T. difficulty at 1000 not only gets you into the highest prize tier in Weekend Classic, but you get a unique choice pack.
- This choice pack features special animated gold card art of the World Series pack cards. These cards are not sellable.
- The initial World Series rewards are Mickey Mantle and new legend Steve Carlton.
Battle Royale
- The initial Flawless rewards are new legend Lance Berkman and Goose Gossage.
- The main structure of Battle Royale remains 10-0 for Flawless and all other elements are the same.

Multiplayer Program
- This is an all encompassing program that includes Ranked, Battle Royale, and other modes. Modes no longer have their own program, all progress is accrued in this program.
- This means you can focus on a singular online mode and still make progress across the Multiplayer Program.
- Different content updates will bring new missions and rewards over time.
- New legend Mark Davis is the first card reward in the program.

- New legend Terry Pendleton is earned at 45 stars in the Multiplayer Program.

- There will be two post-release mission updates to progress in the Multiplayer Program.
- SDS will be actively monitoring progression of the missions across the community and will adjust pacing in the future if needed.
- 1v1 Ranked, Ranked Co-op, Battle Royale, Events, and Weekend Classic all earn progress in the Multiplayer Program.
- Player-specific missions will be attached to the program reward cards to continue making progress.
- There's a mystery card that is the third earnable player card reward in the program. The card will be revealed in the Drop 2 content update.

- There's a final player card reward toward the end of the program that will also be revealed in a future content drop.
- Multiplayer Program card item rewards are sellable.
- Rewind packs will begin dropping in Multiplayer 2 or 3 programs. This increases the value and rarity of the Flawless and World Series rewards with a sense of time-limited access before becoming easier to earn within a few weeks or month.
- Multiplayer Programs will release on a roughly monthly basis.
- Each individual multiplayer mode has a tab that takes you to the overall Multiplayer Program.
- A reminder that Twitch drops will hit your inventory the first time you load the game. Now & Later packs will start rolling out on standard release on March 18.
- All legacy modes (Conquest, Showdown, etc.) are returning in MLB The Show 25.

Pre-Order Bonus Pack Mystery Reveals
Ted Williams is the final card revealed for the 20th Anniversary pack.

Hank Greenberg is the final card revealed for the Legend choice pack.

It was also noted that secondary positions have been refreshed across the entire card pool. This will make team construction much more strategic!
Closing Thoughts
The move to an all encompassing multiplayer program is quite exciting to me. I often felt pressured to play modes I don't necessarily like just to earn rewards in the program. Now, I can play whatever I want and still essentially make the same progress as before.
Overall, this was another banger of a stream and it really is looking like MLB The Show 25 is going for the gold.
