Edgar Martinez and Cool Papa Bell are fine cards, but notably less exciting than some recent releases. I've been looking forward to the 99 overall Cool Papa Bell all year, but find my outfield stacked to the nines now and don't see room for him at 1B or even SP (arguably his weakest position). Edgar never makes my team as I always have DH and 3B taken care of by the time he has a sweet card, though he does have an incredible swing from my limited experience with him.
There's plenty of packs along the way as you scoop up Edgar and Cool Papa Bell, and notably the end reward is the 50-pack bundle currently featuring George Brett in the Chase slot.
Hall of Fame George Brett debuts as the #2 3B and #1 1B according to both True and Meta Overall. Perennially one of the best overall cards in Diamond Dynasty, 99 overall George Brett has max 125 Contact against both sides and 125 Clutch, with 93/100 Power splits and 87 Fielding stock. Getting him to Parallel 3 earns him a Diamond shield at 3B, which works well with the stock 70 Speed to make Brett one of the best overall cards in Diamond Dynasty right now - and probably throughout the rest of the year.
