With only a couple of days left in June, we find ourselves with the 3rd bath of Spotlight content for the month already. These are pretty static at this point so no need for fluff - let's get right to it.
June Spotlight 3 Program
The usual selection of Moments, stat missions, and PXP missions will guide you toward the 95 overall Nolan Arenado waiting for you at the end.
There's an optional 30-star Extreme Moment, tasking you with back-to-back-to-back HRs with the Mets on Hall of Fame if you can stomach it. If you're planning on knocking out the Retro Lightning collection for June, then snapping up all the Spotlight 3 Pack cards and collecting them now will auto-complete this program and save you a fair amount of time in the process.
The featured cards in this week's program are:
- Nolan Arenado, 3B, St. Louis Cardinals (95 OVR) - #2 3B True Overall, #3 3B Meta Overall

- Christian Moore, 2B, Los Angeles Angels (92 OVR)
- Clarke Schmidt, SP, New York Yankees (92 OVR)
By default with the power creep, Spotlight cards are landing at the top of their True and Meta Overall rankings. Arenado feels especially cool since he's a huge name and often is one of the "big bopper" cards that get released when we hit 99-overall season. For a 95 overall with low Speed, this Arenado is very good and I absolutely love his swing in-game.
Best of all - the card is free simply by completing the program.
June Spotlight Pack 3

The companion pack for the week features 95 overall cards in the top-tier of Brooks Lee and Jose Soriano. The full pack-list follows:
- Brooks Lee, SS, Minnesota Twins (95 OVR) - #3 SS True Overall
- Jose Soriano, SP, Los Angeles Angels (95 OVR) - #6 SP True Overall
- Brady House, 3B, Washington Nationals (92 OVR)
- Logan O’Hoppe, C, Los Angeles Angels (92 OVR)
- Braxton Fulford, C, Colorado Rockies (92 OVR)
Another week that features some interesting cards in the 95 tier.
Brooks Lee has a crazy offensive profile for a SS. With 119/125 Contact splits against LHP/RHP and 76/107 Power with 120 Clutch, Brooks Lee is kind of a psycho with it. Not only that, but he's a switch-hitter. He has no Quirks and is a Bronze Fielder with no Speed, but he can also play 2B and 3B.
Soriano features an Outlier Sinker primary with nasty secondary offerings. Knuckle-Curves are probably still the weakest pitch in the game, but Soriano's features 99 Break with 75 Control. The Slider and Splitter both have 95+ Break as well, all paired with his 99 Break Outlier Sinker and a 4-Seamer that will touch 100 MPH consistently. Elite H/9 at 106 with 109 Clutch and respectable enough 70 BB/9 for a "stuff" guy, and you have an interesting under-the-radar SP option.
Closing Thoughts
This weekend presents a great opportunity to get caught up on Spotlight content. With Double XP, you can keep moving in the 4th Inning Program. Additionally, the next Lightning Spotlight player will be revealed and available within the next couple of weeks. Knocking these out now will save time when the Lightning Guy arrives.
