It's Tuesday which typically means a new Headliner in the Show Shop. This week features Headliners Pack 20 - Tony Perez.

Perez actually lands as a somewhat interesting Headliner feature. Typically, Headliners are nothing more than inventory fodder or semi-interesting names for those using budget teams. It's not that the cards are always terrible, but they're not always interesting.

Standout Tony Perez is a certified masher. With max Contact against LHP and 82 Power, with 98 Contact against RHP and 100 Power with 110 Clutch - the dude blasts baseballs. In my limited usage of Perez cards historically, he usually felt like had a pretty good swing to me. All good things here.

We know defense matters more this year, but I think 73 Fielding at 3B is plenty suitable. If you're not rocking some of the more attractive 3B available, or running a theme team, Perez will do perfectly fine at the hot corner.
