It's Tuesday which means a new Headliners set in the Show Shop.
Headliners 17 features Yankees 3B D.J. LeMahieu, who in addition to having a name I can't reliably spell correctly, also has a pretty nifty glove at the hot corner.

A defense-first card will always be underwhelming offensively, especially at 92 overall. This Awards series LeMahieu features strong Contact against LHP and...that's about it. A Clutch rating of 68 is dreadful, and the middling Power certainly feels way less exciting in the current stretch of releases we've seen.
The flip side is elite Fielding. With 95 Fielding that maxes out at Parallel 4, 94 Reaction and an Accurate arm - LeMahieu certainly fields his position well. We've constantly talked about how much defense matters this year, so for new players or no money spent players this can be a nice addition to the bottom of the lineup.
Overall, not the most exciting card but the defense floating LeMahieu into the top-5 True Overall rankings might make him a sleeper.
