The April Spotlight Program 2 is now live in MLB The Show 25, offering players another weekly XP boost and a shot at three new Diamond Dynasty cards, plus a new Spotlight Pack available both in the reward path and the Show Shop.
Let’s break it down so you can hit the ground running.
April Spotlight Program 2 Rewards
Here’s what you’ll earn as you grind through the latest mini-program:
- 10 Stars – Jacob Wilson (86 OVR)The Athletics’ middle infield prospect gets the Spotlight treatment with solid contact ratings and a strong arm/shaky glove defensive toolkit.

- 20 Stars – Carson Kelly (86 OVR)Veteran catcher Carson Kelly makes his debut with a well-rounded bat and pedestrian defense behind the plate. A reliable option at a shallow position if you’re not swimming in stubs.

- 50 Stars – Trent Grisham (88 OVR)This week’s featured Spotlight reward is a slick-fielding Grisham with pop against righties and lefties. As a left-handed bat with elite center field defense, he’ll make a great platoon or late-game defensive option for many squads even a couple months from now. He's certainly a starting caliber CF right now.

How to Earn April Spotlight Rewards
This is the usual Moments and PXP/Stat Grind setup. There's 7 total Moments, 4 PXP missions featuring Drop 2 players and card specific ones for Wilson, Kelly, and last week's Jordan Westburg. There's also 4 stat grind missions and an optional Spotlight collection if you're a pack ripper that ends up with the whole set. You can collect and complete this program without spending a second grinding!
