The new Diamond Quest map in MLB The Show 25 just dropped, and it’s delivering a couple of new cards in 88 All-Star Anthony Rizzo and 88 Breakout Shane McClanahan.
What’s in the Map?
The format remains familiar: complete the conquest-style objectives, earn packs and XP, and secure the featured Diamond players. This time around, the lefty bat of Rizzo and the electric arm of McClanahan headline the prize pool:

Rizzo has a great swing and his attributes are actually pretty good. My biggest dislike is the 33 Speed, but that's never stopped me from mashing with Rizzo before. For me, McClanahan has always been one of those electric pitchers that don't seem to translate well to online play in The Show. However, with the depth of breaking pitches feeling more authentic this year, perhaps cards like this will have a bit more play in them.
Closing Thoughts
Let’s call it what it is: MLB The Show 25’s content cadence has been refreshingly fast and fun. With Sets and Seasons removed, we’re getting more usable cards more often, and it’s made every new map drop feel worth grinding. It's the kind of pace that keeps the game feeling fresh which is supported even more by the more flexible XP caps.
Constant content with relevant cards makes Diamond Dynasty everything it's meant to be.
