99 2025 All-Star Series Kyle Schwarber (Philadelphia Phillies) - #2 LF True Overall, #3 LF Meta Overall

A 99 overall Kyle Schwarber will always be warmly welcomed into the Diamond Dynasty card pool, especially one with offensive attributes like this. Run him in the outfield if you wish, but ultimately no one cares when he's going to obliterate every pitch he makes even somewhat solid contact with. Absolutely batty attributes that nearly max completely out at Parallel 5, and you have one of the best swings in DD wrapped in endgame/Finest level attributes.
Closing Thoughts
The All-Star break content is always a game changer in Diamond Dynasty, as the baseline for card overalls jump up and we start seeing big boppers from the huge name players we want to see. SDS provided very strong fan service by allowing the Mini Seasons Schwarber to be collected for program progress toward the 99 overall version.
We're hitting the point in the year where "real life" content can create design challenges. It was looking like we'd get Ketel Marte as MVP for most of the game, which would have been quite the development as he was just released as the 99 overall Chase card at the beginning of the content drop. The game being prolonged and ending in a swing-off was a ton of fun to watch, and for me was the most entertaining All-Star Game I've seen in several years.
Even if you don't have the 97 Schwarber to collect yet, you'll still benefit from grinding out the Mini Season if you want to work on the All-Star collection. You can even collect the new 99 Schwarber as well, so it's well worth it at this point.
How did you feel about the All-Star Game and the content this year? Are you happy with a free 99 overall Schwarber available? Let us know in the comments!
