Somehow, it's the beginning of June which means we're already at the 4th Inning Program in MLB The Show 25.
It's pretty standard fare so lets take a look at what's new.
Weekend Classic III

The third edition of Diamond Dynasty's competitive weekend league, Weekend Classic III returns with the same structure we got in last month's iteration. The notable changes come in the way rewards are being handed out.
Reaching Silver II will reward players with a May Spotlight Any pack, which features a random Spotlight player from the May packs. This pack is also seen elsewhere in today's content drop.
For higher-tiered players, standard Show packs are being replaced by Ballin' packs, which bring more overall value and should be a nice change of pace for those skilled enough to battle at the highest levels.
Weekend Classic III Rewards
The Weekend Classic Choice Pack makes its return with two standout rewards:
- 94 Milestone Grady Sizemore - #2 CF True Overall
- 94 Rookie Devin Williams - #2 RP True Overall
Last month's rewards felt a little lacking, especially compared to the other cards available at the time. These two Weekend Classic rewards landing near the top of their respective positions according to True Overall provides a worthwhile reason to play the mode.
Cornerstone Evolution 4 Breakdown

Each Inning brings new Cornerstone Evolution cards, and the newest featured Cornerstones are Craig Kimbrel, Eric Davis, and Marcus Semien.
The structure has changed a bit, making it easier to complete missions with the lesser versions and ultimately speeding up the process to unlock the 92 overall versions.

4th Inning XP Path
A noted change by SDS is that there's fewer unlockables in this reward path, with more packs replacing them. Unlockables are typically nothing more than binder fodder, so getting some extra packs is a win for everyone.
93 Milestone Adam Dunn
Unlocked at 135k XP in the program path, Milestone Adam Dunn is a fun card obtained just by playing the game. Dunn has a great swing in the game, and as SDS themselves noted; Milestone cards are starting to pop up which means they'll be required in the next Legends and Flashbacks collection.

Dunn is loaded with Quirks, has max Power against RHP to go with the amazing swing and rates out as the #2 LF in Diamond Dynasty. Not bad for a free card, eh?
4th Inning Bosses
The 4th Inning Bosses feature Derek Jeter, Hank Greenberg, and Nolan Ryan. These three new Bosses bring their own unique flair, and help raise the player overall floor as they come in at 94 overall.

Jeter immediately debuts as the top SS in Diamond Dynasty. This 1999 All-Star iteration features pretty juicy Power for the Yankees' legend, eclipsing the magical 80+ mark against both sides. Elite Contact and nearly max Clutch makes him an absolute machine with runners in scoring position as well. Jeter's Fielding is the stuff of meme-legend, but 71 Fielding and 73 Reaction is respectable enough to go along with the 72 Speed.
Greenberg won't catch quite as much fanfare. While an exciting new legend, Greenberg is all bat and most of his prowess is in the Power department. Sporting 109/104 Power L/R, Greenberg still has solid Contact and Clutch with his lowest rating in that trio at 90. Fielding is important this year, so Greenberg's 65 Fielding might see him drop a few scoopable throws that other first baseman might snatch.
Ryan debuts as the #3 SP in Diamond Dynasty. Traditionally one of the hardest pitchers to hit every year, Ryan brings the expected Outlier on his 4-Seamer with 101 H/9, 102 K/9, and 108 Clutch to give him an elite trio of core attributes. Ryan's devastating 12-6 Curveball also features 95 Break, though the 67 Control will really force you to locate well. Regardless, Ryan is absurdly difficult to hit and looks to be a menace for the foreseeable future.
Double XP and PXP

Double XP has been running and has been extended until Tuesday, June 10 at 3 PM EST. In addition, Double PXP is now live and runs for the same length of time. This is a great way to begin the new program grind as well as tackling your Parallel progress.
