We're in the midst of the 2025 World Series, which means MLB The Show 25 is now in the midst of the 10th Inning Program. In a year that has flown by, we're getting 2025 Finest cards as the bosses with a quicker program path.
Cornerstone Evolution

The newest trio of Cornerstone Evolution cards features 99 overalls of Nolan Ryan, Cal Ripken Jr., and Frank Thomas. Truly a trio of genuine cornerstones for their respective franchises, these three huge name legends are also easier to acquire.
Instead of the usual programs for each player, the 99 overall Cornerstone cards are simply part of the normal 10th Inning Program XP Path. That means you simply unlock the card itself, with no Moments or grinding with lower-tier versions. A very welcomed change to a cool card series and program path feature.
Unlock at:
- Cal Ripken Jr. - 15,000 XP
- Frank Thomas - 36,000 XP
- Nolan Ryan - 70,000 XP
2025 Finest Jose Altuve

In lieu of a traditional XP Reward Path reward, there is an exchange for 2025 Finest Jose Altuve.
To unlock this card, you'll need to exchange a total value of 500,000 live series cards. You can do this within the 10th Inning Program folder itself, or from the Exchanges tab in the main Diamond Dynasty menu.

10th Inning Bosses

The newest trio of bosses to choose from includes the first batch of 2025 Finest cards: Aroldis Chapman, Nick Kurtz, and Juan Soto.
Juan Soto is clearly the best boss in this pack, and I'm willing to bet he'll be the most picked. The card is absolutely nuts and might be the best Soto we've ever seen. Soto nearly missed a 40/40 season as he finished with 43 HRs and 38 SB. The offensive attributes are nearly maxed out across the board, with his 110 CON L and 100 Vision the only key attributes that aren't 125.
His 73 Fielding and 75 Reaction is pedestrian, but he has a strong arm with 90 Arm Strength and has 85 Speed and 99 Stealing. This card is bonkers, and Soto has one of the very best swings in the game.
Chapman and Kurtz are both good cards as well, but there is a clear gap between them and Soto. You could arguably get by with one of the lower-rated Chapman cards if you really wanted him in your bullpen, but don't mistake it - this 99 overall Finest is very good for obvious reasons. Kurtz is also a great option at 1B with RF eligibility, but Soto clears him easily on the position player side.
Soto debuts as the #2 LF and RF according to Meta Overall, which is a pretty big deal considering the deluge of 99 overalls at this point. It's hard to separate 99's at times, but Soto is one of the best cards in Diamond Dynasty.
Unlock your first boss pack at 100,000 XP and the final pack at 190,000 XP. This program runs for 21 days, so SDS has moved the key rewards up in the path. If you do the 9th Inning Boss Exchange and complete the five exchanges in the program tab, you'll unlock your first boss pack without playing a single inning.
There's your 10th Inning Bosses. Who are you taking first?
