Speedrunning Conquest in MLB The Show isn’t just possible—it’s optimal. If you’re grinding Diamond Dynasty and want to rack up rewards without wasting time, here’s your ultimate guide to finishing Conquest maps fast.
Strongholds Only
Here’s the secret sauce: you don’t need to play every single tile battle. Sim through all the neutral territory matchups and only play the Stronghold games—the ones with the team logo. As long as you have enough fans to overpower the CPU, simming gets the job done with way less effort. There's really no punishment for losing the simulation battles unless the CPU has a huge number of fans, which you most likely weren't attacking with a small army anyway.
Swiper, No Swiping!
Unless the map specifically asks you to steal fans (some hidden goals do), skip it entirely. It’s an extra game that adds zero value unless there’s a reward attached. You’re here to conquer, not overachieve.
Use a Bright Team Color
Ever miss a territory and wonder why your Conquest map isn’t completing? It happens more than you’d think. In the uniform editor, temporarily switch your team color to something neon bright or contrasting—think lime green, hot pink, or highlighter yellow. It’s a weird flex, but it’ll help you see your owned territories clearly, especially if you're navigating a fog-of-war or busy background.
Closing Thoughts
- Sim all games except Strongholds.
- Ignore stealing fans unless it’s a map objective.
- Use a stand-out team color to avoid missed territories.
That’s it. Go full Brock Lesnar mode and conquer without apology.
