Building your dream ballpark in MLB The Show is easier than ever thanks to the game’s Custom Stadium Creator—an incredibly fun tool that lets players design every inch of their own baseball heaven.
Whether you want to hit tanks into a cornfield or create a futuristic domed stadium, here’s everything you need to know.
Where To Find Stadium Creator
Custom Stadiums are available exclusively on current-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S). To access it:
- From the Main Menu, go to Create.
- Select Stadium Creator.
You can also access it from within Diamond Dynasty by navigating to the My Stadiums section in your squad settings.
Stadium Building Basics
You’ll start with a template stadium—either a blank canvas or a base model you can tweak. From there, you can:
- Customize field dimensions (move fences, change foul territory)
- Add or remove seating sections
- Place props and decorations (billboards, dinosaurs, UFOs—yes, really)
- Edit lighting, elevation, and location
- Save and name multiple stadiums
Keep in mind that you can't obstruct the batter's eye, so there's some limitations you'll have to face. It would also be prudent to consider the competitive capability of your dimensions if you're looking to have an enjoyable gaming experience.
Using Your Stadium in Diamond Dynasty
Once your stadium is created:
- Head to Diamond Dynasty > Manage Squad.
- Press the Stadium tile.
- Select My Stadiums and choose your custom one.
Pro Tips
- Use the Snap Mode for precise object placement.
- Save frequently to avoid losing progress.
- Make use of elevation to boost or nerf home run potential. Keep in mind this affects the other players too, so if it's easier for you it's easier for your opponents.
- Show off your stadium by sharing screenshots on social or checking out the Community Stadiums tab to see what others are building.
A Note on Stadium Saves from MLB The Show 24
If you’ve got a beloved ballpark built in MLB The Show 24, hold tight. Some users are reporting issues importing previously saved stadiums into MLB The Show 25. SDS is aware of the issue, and we’ll update this post once a fix or official statement is released. I've been patiently awaiting the moment I can carry over my Greek Isles stadium into this year's game to see it with the new lighting and graphical enhancements.
