Headliner packs typically drop on Tuesdays, but today provided some extra goodies for the community.
Community Home Run Challenge Reward Packs Available Now In the Show Shop
For the next two weeks, the reward packs are available for free in the Show Shop. There are Diamond Equipment items and Franchise Sponsorship items, but the Diamond Dynasty-related goods are the 85+ Live Series pack, Deluxe Pipeline pack, and Vault Choice Pack.

Headliners 27 Featuring Milestone Jered Weaver
Today's featured Headliner is Jered Weaver. Weaver's first 99 OVR celebrates his 2012 no-hitter and has insanely good attributes. The H/9 against both sides is top-level elite, but the 125 Clutch is huge. The downside here is the lack of velocity. Weaver will sit in the low 90s with his sinker and 4-seamer, with a cutter at roughly the same speed. The off-speed consists of a circle change and slider with decent Break, but roughly the same speed.
I will happily use any pitcher and enjoy trying to figure out sequencing with less "stuff" centric cards. However, this pitch mix doesn't look very strong on All-Star difficulty in Ranked, where most people play. This does have a major benefit of being another Milestone card, which will help us complete the Legends and Flashbacks collections.
Headliners 27 is available in the Show Shop for 10,000 Stubs per pack, with a maximum purchase of 5 packs per account.
Conquest
There's also a beefy new Conquest map. Take down 12 (!) enemy strongholds to earn the completion rewards along the way, with the main event being a Vault Choice Pack.
I'll do whatever daddy says to earn the Vault Choice Packs, even though my luck with them has been abysmal. These remain the most likely avenue for me to collect Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani to complete Live Series, but the best I've seen is 30,000 Stubs worth of cards I already have.
Time to slowly grind away again, boys.
