This week’s content drop in MLB The Show 25 delivers superstar power with Chase Pack 11 featuring Ronald Acuña Jr. and Headliners 15 featuring Chris Taylor accompanies a new Conquest map and free Memorial Day goodies.
Let’s break it all down.
All-Star RF Ronald Acuna Jr. (Atlanta Braves) - #2 RF True Overall

Chase Packs remain among the most coveted items in The Show, and Chase Pack 11 brings legitimate superstardom in the form of Ronald Acuna Jr.
Debuting as the #2 RF in Diamond Dynasty, this Chase card drops on the very day Ronnie returns from his second ACL surgery in the last few years. His Live Series card is notably slower than previous years, and this card features a bit higher Speed with 72. As Acuna has been a lethal stolen base threat, the 99 Stealing should still allow some hijinks on the basepaths.
Hitting wise, Acuna is pretty good across the board. The Power is a bit disappointing especially considering Acuna had 21 HRs at the All-Star break in 2023. Regardless, Acuna has one of the nastiest swings in the game and the superstar glaze that should make this one of the most expensive cards available in packs for a while.
The Braves fan in me weeps that he'll be far too expensive for me, but it's a fun card to have in the player pool.
How to Get Chase Packs
- Every 50-Pack Bundle in the Show Shop includes 1 Chase Pack.
- Random Drop: Chase Packs can also be pulled from Standard Packs, adding some extra thrill to every rip.
Standout CF Chris Taylor (Los Angeles Dodgers) - #6 CF True Overall
Headliners Set 15 features Chris Taylor, the Swiss-army-knife utility player for the Los Angeles Dodgers. His Diamond card brings a rare blend of versatility and balance that can land him on many Diamond Dynasty squads.

Taylor's standout attribute might be his defensive versatility. With defense and secondary positions mattering more than ever, a card that can play CF, 2B, 3B, SS, and LF is insanely valuable when it can do what this Taylor does.
101 and 96 Contact against LHP/RHP respectively with 94 Clutch, Taylor has some notable pop against RHP with 81 Power. Exceptional Contact and Clutch with some Power might not entice many, but the fact that you can slot him in at most positions on the field is huge.
Not to mention, Taylor has 86 Fielding and 85 Reaction with an impressive arm as well. He might not steal many bags for you, but 86 Speed will help immensely in the field.
Standout Chris Taylor debuts as the sixth best SS according to True Overall, but actually rates out better as the #5 2B and #5 SS in Diamond Dynasty.
