Andy Pettitte got 48.5% of the Hall of Fame vote in January 2026, a big jump from 27.9% the year before. He's now in his ninth of 10 years on the ballot, so his case is getting a lot of attention. The five-time World Series champion won 256 games and holds the record for most postseason wins (19). Here are his best rookie and early cards and what they sell for now.
Prices updated October 2026. Each figure is the average of the card's three most recent PSA-graded sales tracked by Card Ladder, or its most recent sale where fewer exist. Population counts are from GemRate as of October 2026.
Pettitte's rookie cards are affordable: his only official rookie, 1993 Bowman #103, sells for about $450 in a PSA 10. His most valuable cards are late-'90s inserts, which are covered after the list.

The Best Andy Pettitte Rookie Cards
1. 1996 Leaf Signature Series Autographs Gold (PSA 10 – $385 to $1,525 in 2025–26)

Pettitte's earliest certified autographs came in 1996 Leaf Signature Series, in Bronze, Silver and Gold versions. The Gold is the most valuable rookie-era Pettitte card: a PSA 10 sold for $1,525 in January 2026. Only two PSA 10s exist, though, so the recent sales are the same two copies changing hands, and prices have swung from $385 to $1,525.
2. 1993 Bowman #103 (PSA 10 – $450, PSA 9 – $55)

This is Pettitte's only official rookie card, from the same 1993 Bowman set as Derek Jeter's. PSA 10s have been steady at $445 to $480 this fall, and PSA 9s are cheap. Look out for copies signed later and graded by PSA/DNA, which sell as a different item.
3. 1995 Upper Deck Minor League Future Stock #176 ($499, February 2026 sale)

A Future Stock parallel from Upper Deck's minor-league set, which sold for $499 in February 2026, one of the highest sales for any early Pettitte card.
4. 1993 South Atlantic League All-Stars Play II #31 (PSA 10 – $400, August 2025 sale)

One of his scarcest minor league cards, from a regional All-Star set. Only three PSA 10s exist, and one sold for $400 in 2025. Sales are rare, so prices can jump either way.
5. 1995 Select Certified #96 Mirror Gold (PSA 10 – $230)

The Mirror Gold parallel from his debut season has only seven PSA 10s, and their price has tripled since 2024, to $174 to $265 this year.

6. 1995 Bowman #257 Gold Foil (PSA 10 – $170, PSA 9 – $40)

The foil parallel of his 1995 Bowman card. PSA lists it under two names, but it's the same card, with only 10 PSA 10s between them.
7. 1992-93 Fleer Excel #214 (PSA 10 – $145, PSA 9 – $20)

An early minor league card whose PSA 10 price doubled this year, to $120 to $199.
8. 1995 Flair #287 (SGC 10 – $128, October 2026 sale)

A rookie-year card from Fleer's thick-stock Flair set. It's rarely graded: no PSA 10 sale is on record, and an SGC 10 brought $128 in October.
9. 1992 Fleer ProCards Greensboro Hornets #777 (PSA 10 – $85, PSA 9 – $15)

A minor league card from his time with the Yankees' Greensboro affiliate, at a fan-friendly price.
10. 1996 Leaf Signature Series Autographs (Bronze) (PSA 10 – $150, PSA 9 – $100)

The base version of his first certified autograph. Raw copies sell for $40 to $65, which makes it the cheapest way to get an early Pettitte auto.
11. 1992 Classic Best #286 (PSA 10 – $30, PSA 9 – $12)

His most common minor league card and the easiest early Pettitte to own in a PSA 10.
Andy Pettitte's Most Valuable Cards

Not yet. He received 48.5% of the vote in 2026 and needs 75%. 2027 is his ninth year on the BBWAA ballot and 2028 is his last.
He'd need a jump of about 27 points to be elected in 2027, which is unlikely but possible after his 21-point gain last year. If he falls short, 2028 is his final year on the BBWAA ballot. Results are announced in January 2027.
His 256 wins and 3.85 ERA are borderline by Hall standards, and some voters hold his admitted HGH use, revealed in the 2007 Mitchell Report, against him. His record 19 postseason wins and five World Series titles are the strongest parts of his case.
Yes. He has a 99 Awards card, a 94 Standout card and an 88 Jolt card in MLB The Show 26, all in ShowZone's player database.
