How To Complete the Pipeline Past Collection in MLB The Show 25
MLB The Show 25 got a new card series in the Pipeline Past series. This card series highlights current Major Leaguers in their prospect forms, featuring never before seen versions of big name players.
In order to complete the Pipeline Past collection, you'll need to complete the namesake program, buy plenty of cards from the market, and more.
Collecting 25 Pipeline Past cards will finish the collection and unlock 93 overall Pipeline Past Corey Seager, who easily became one of the most sought after cards in the game upon release.
Pipeline Past Program

As of publication, there are a total of 27 Pipeline Past cards available in the game. This includes a Chase card and top-tier insert card, meaning there's two extremely expensive cards to choose from.
The program features a handful of cards that are necessary to complete the collection including:
- Jonathan India
- Kevin Gausman
- Jose Iglesias
- Mickey Moniak
- Gerrit Cole
- Joey Gallo
As with every new themed pack/program, these cards can be earned without grinding by completing the pack collection. If you're reading this guide, you're going to be spending Stubs to unlock Corey Seager anyway so starting with this program is the most efficient way forward.
Pro tip: It's always more Stub-efficient to buy the specific cards from the marketplace versus buying packs. The odds on the Pipeline Past packs are a bit more user-friendly than usual, meaning the top-rated cards in the pack are vastly more affordable than normal. Buying packs to chase down Kyle Schwarber can be fun, but if you're trying to get the collection done as quickly and cheaply as possible - buy the cards outright from the marketplace.
Pipeline Past Pack
The following cards are contained in the Pipeline Past pack and feed into the collection:
- Kyle Schwarber
- Nate Pearson
- Jarred Kelenic
- Xander Bogaerts
- Anthony Rendon
- Hunter Renfroe
- Starling Marte
- Andrew Vaughn
- Mitch Keller
- Austin Hedges
- Jake Bauers
- A.J. Puk
- Michael A. Taylor
- Brady Singer
- Kyle Wright
Pipeline Past Showdown
There's a singular Showdown tied into the Pipeline Past series. Completing the Showdown and defeating Final Boss Pipeline Past Lucas Giolito unlocks that card and helps you progress in the collection.
Sub-Collection Rewards
As with most big collections, there are multiple cards featured in the overall Pipeline Past collection.
- Unlock Pipeline Past Jo Adell by collecting 7 Pipeline Past cards
- Unlock Pipeline Past Yoan Moncada by collecting 18 Pipeline Past cards.
These cards essentially act as tiered gatekeepers in a sense, as you'll naturally unlock them along the way to Seager.
unknown nodePro tip: We'll most likely see more Pipeline Past series cards introduced in the future. The initial release of every set is when the fervor is at its highest, and cards are at their most expensive. Over time, more packs will be introduced in programs or flash sales and new cards in the series should make it easier (and cheaper) to finish the collection.
Pipeline Past SS Corey Seager (Los Angeles Dodgers) - #1 SS True Overall

Completing the entire collection nets you one of the most popular players in Diamond Dynasty every year - Corey Seager.
The Pipeline Past version features godlike attributes on the offensive side, with 90 Power against LHP being the lowest core attribute on the card. 100/106/104 in terms of Contact and Clutch with 100 Power against RHP makes Seager one of the most dangerous Shortstops in the game - as the prophecy foretold.
This version of Seager also features Gold-Fielding, with 80 Stock Fielding giving him a strong base to field from with 78 Reaction not being too shabby. Of course, Seager isn't known for his quickness but this younger version brings 45 Speed which certainly isn't elite; but better than the Live Series version.
Pipeline Past Corey Seager will become one of the most desired cards in the game, and depending on how the power creep works moving forward, could very well end up being one of the best SS even past the All-Star break when we'll get a huge batch of new content. As always, slowly completing the collection over time is easily doable if you manage your Stubs efficiently. Early on, you'll have to splurge for the new Chase Vladimir Guerrero Jr. or the "Chase that's not a Chase" Kyle Schwarber.
Those looking to grab Seager as quickly as possible will end up paying a pretty penny Stub to do so for one of the best cards currently available.
